Head:
Choose a plastic milk or water jug with two indentations opposite the handle. Turn it upside down
and, opposite the handle, cut a large mouth centered beneath the two indented "eyes." Make two
small slits in the top of the head and tie a string through them for hanging the finished skeleton.

Chest:
Cut the ribs as shown in the diagram.
Glue the head and chest together at the necks of the bottle with hot glue.
Shoulders:
Cut the handles off two jugs leaving a small collar on the ends. Attach them to the chest section
using hot glue. Punch a hole at the end of each "shoulder."
Hips:
Cut around a jug about 4 1/2 inches from the base. Trim away a small "smile" shape from each side
to make a four cornered shape. Punch holes in two opposite corners.
Waist
Cut off two necks of jugs leaving a 1/2 inch collar on each. Glue neck areas together. When dry
glue the waist to the bottom of the chest and the top of the hips.
Arms and legs:
Cut eight long bone shapes from the corner sections of three jugs (cut into the curved shape to
make the bones more realistic). From four of these, cut out the center to make lower limbs
(forearms and shins). Punch a hole through the ends of all eight bones. Tie two arm sections to
each shoulder and two leg sections to each hip.
Hands and feet:
Let the 'munchkins' trace their hands and feet on the flat sides of a jug. Cut out the shapes and
punch holes in them. Fasten them to the arms and legs with string.

For an added effect, spray with fluorescent paint and dangle from a tree.
