Recycling Symbols:
The following symbols have been created to assist the consumer in reading at a glance the material
of which a container is made. These symbols are required to appear on all bottles 8 oz and greater.
The symbol consists of a triangle formed by "chasing arrows" with a specific number in the center.
The number indicates the material from which the container is made. The number/material equivalents
are:
|
1 - PETE (Polyethylene Terphthalate)
|
2 - HDPE (High Density Polyethylene)
|
3 - V (Vinyl/Polyvinyl Chloride)
|
4 - LDPE (Low Density Polyethylene)
