Labeling and Silk-screening
Pressure sensitive labels are a good choice for a company just starting out or in a situation
where changes may occur before a final label is chosen. It is also the best choice for multi-colored
designs.
Silk-screening remains the most common method of decorating plastic bottles. We have a
minimum printing charge and will run any number of bottles for you. The smaller the quantity,
however, the higher the per piece cost. When designing your silk-screening artwork, please try to
keep it to one or two colors. Variations of color may be made by half-toning and reverse printing
and will keep your costs down. Two colors are slightly more than twice as expensive as one. There
is usually an accepted industry standard of two per cent loss per color. You can minimize this by
designing your artwork so that little registration is needed. We reserve the right to approve all
artwork before accepting a printing job. Printing of closures is also available.
Hot Stamping
Hot stamping is available for both bottles and closures with about a 5000 piece minimum depending
on our vendor. Consider "dressing up" a product with a simple band of gold around the base of the
cap.
